About Us

Meet our founder

Chirag Karia, MSc is the founder of Bright Fox Health. He holds an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience from the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London – one of the world’s foremost centres for mental health research – and a Diploma in Integrative Psychological Therapies, encompassing evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, CFT and Motivational Interviewing, alongside professional training in coaching and counselling.

His experience spans mental health settings across the UK, US, Middle East and Asia, from non-profit organisations to residential treatment environments. He is a member of the Association for Coaching and the British Neuroscience Association, speaks at international mental health conferences, and is trained as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and fully DBS checked.

Chirag works with young people aged 11 to 25 and their families, offering care that is personalised, confidential and non-judgemental – designed to understand and address the root causes of a young person’s difficulties, not just the symptoms, so that lasting change can take hold in everyday life.

Why Bright Fox exists

We created Bright Fox because too many young people in the UK are struggling but do not neatly fit into the support currently available to them.

They may not need a diagnosis or months on a waiting list — but they still need more than reassurance at home.

Bright Fox fills that gap with practical, professional mental health coaching — through flexible sessions or our structured Bright Fox Programme — and specialist therapy for when difficulties run deeper.

A skills-based philosophy

We believe that how you feel isn’t fixed — it can be trained.

Emotional regulation, focus, resilience and confidence aren’t personality traits you either have or don’t have. They’re skills that can be learned, practised and strengthened over time.

But they don’t develop automatically, and they develop differently at different ages.

That’s why our programmes are tailored to three developmental stages: 11–14, 15–18 and 19–25 — designed around how young people think, feel and make sense of the world at each age.

We meet young people where they are and give them practical tools they can use in real life — at school, at home, with friends and in their own thoughts. These skills are taught through The Bright Fox Programme and our ongoing Mental Health Coaching.

Our vision

We want to see a generation of young people in the UK who:
